During the Treatment
Your technician will apply a lubricating gel to the treatment area. The probe is placed at the treatment site. You’ll feel a gentle vibration and hear a snapping noise. It is entirely painless.
After Treatment
There is no downtime or aftercare with this procedure.

Are there any contraindications for the Alma DUO?
The Alma DUO treatment is contraindicated if you have:
* A local tumor at the treatment area
* An infection at the treatment area
* A blood clotting disorder (including thrombosis)
* received a steroid injection within 6 weeks.
* Been fitted with a pacemaker
How comfortable is the treatment?
The treatment is completely painless. All our staff are professional who approach every treatment with care, confidentiality, and patience.
How long does it take to see results?
Most patients will begin to notice results after the 2nd or 3rd treatment, with continued improvement with each treatment. Optimal results are apparent after the sixth treatment. Time is needed to allow the treatments to stimulated the blood vessels and time to create new ones. Patients will then continue to notice improvements weeks after the final treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
Depending on what musculoskeletal issue is being treated a series between 3 to 6 treatments are recommended; however its best to schedule an appointment with a member of our qualified staff in order to find a treatment plan, which best suits you and your needs.
